Three Bridges Trail

Trail Overview
Located at Carter Caves State Resort Park in Carter County, the Three Bridges Trail is a loop trail with a difficulty rating of Moderate/Difficult due to its length and constant change in elevation.
Trail Access
There are multiple locations to access the Three Bridges Trail depending on where you’d like to start. The first being at the Carter Caves Welcome Center parking lot, the second located near the Lewis Caveland Lodge and the third at the parking lot located near Smoky Bridge and Smoky Valley Lake below the pool.
Waypoints
On this trail you will experience 3 natural bridges and a lakeside view of Smoky Valley Lake, which makes it one of our favorites at this state park.
Fern Bridge
Fern Bridge is located closest to the Three Bridges trailhead near the Carter Caves State Resort Park Welcome Center.

Raven Bridge
Raven Bridge is located closest to the Three Bridges trailhead next to Lewis Caveland Lodge and can be accessed via the Raven Bridge Trail if you do not want to the hike the entirety of the Three Bridges Trail.

Smoky Valley Lake
You will find some of the nicest views of Smoky Valley Lake after continuing on the trail past Raven Bridge.

Smoky Bridge
Smoky Bridge is the largest natural bridge located at Carter Caves State Resort Park and be accessed easily via the parking lot below the pool if you do not want to hike the entirety of the Three Bridges Trail.
