Amburgey Rock Trail

Trail Overview
Located in the Cumberland Ranger District of the Daniel Boone National Forest in Rowan County, Amburgey Rock Trail is an Out and Back trail with a difficulty rating of Easy. This is a short hike but well worth the visit due to the impressive rock formation found at the end of the trail. We have rated this trail as Easy but be aware that there is a small scramble to get to the top of Amburgey Rock, which could be slightly difficult for some people.
Trail Access
A designated parking area is located directly in front of the trailhead, with additional parking located in walking distance. The trailhead branches off of Sheltowee Trace Trail #100 and is a perfect stop on the way through.

Amburgey Rock is a rock formation found near Sheltowee Trace Trail #100 and just down the road from Lockeegee Rock Trail. It is a short hike to the top of the rock and provides a great view of the surrounding area.
