Located in the London Ranger District of the Daniel Boone National Forest in Whitley County, Dog Slaughter Falls Trail is an Out and Back trail with a difficulty rating of Moderate.

Trail Access

The trailhead is located almost 3 miles off of Forest Road 195 from its junction with KY 90. There are several spots off of the side of the gravel road to park. The bridge that originally crossed Dog Slaughter Creek near the beginning of the trail is now out. Hikers will need to cross the creek via rocks to make their way onto the trail.

The trail follows alongside Dog Slaughter Creek where you can hear the peaceful sounds of the stream running while you hike. The stream eventually leads out to the falls which is the main attraction of this trail.
