Trail Overview

Located near the Grayson Lake Dam in Carter County, Grayson Lake Nature Trail is a loop trail with a difficulty rating of Easy/Moderate. The most difficult part of the trail is at the beginning due to the sharp incline, but the rest is fairly flat or downhill. A large portion of the trail runs parallel with the Little Sandy River, which also makes this a popular spot to fish. Near the end of the trail, you will find multiple benches to sit and enjoy the water.

Hikers can park at the gravel lot before the trailhead on the right or at the parking lot directly located in front of the playground and shelters.
